Shipping Specialist

Full Job Description:

Salary:
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Summary:

Responsible for packaging and shipping products out of our facility, preparing shipping documents (both domestic and international), tracking customer orders daily, inventory control and assisting in other departments as required. Salary/hourly wage based on experience. Must be 18 years or older, and able to work in the U.S.A.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare orders for shipping by pulling inventory, packaging boxes, placing orders in proper delivery areas for pickup.
• Prepare Bill of Lading (BOL) and packing slips for shipments.
• Ensures shipments are packaged using appropriate materials and methods.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Data entry into all shipping platforms, printing and affixing all required shipping labels.
• Organize stock and maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
• Assist in cycle counting finished good products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience with UPS World ship, Fed-Ex and DHL.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving goals while adhering to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and mathematical skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Results-driven with high attention to detail.
• Strong listening skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
• Must be proficient in PC operation and navigation, with efficient typing skills.
• Good critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to ship independently and as part of a constantly evolving team.
• Detail-oriented, with good accuracy and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and able to work overtime as required to support operation goals and deadlines.
• Pride in getting work done accurately and timely, with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
